Animals also benefit from Reiki, and they are always in charge of the session and decide exactly how much energy they want to receive! Working with my own cats and also volunteering with homeless animals at C.A.T.S. (Caring About the Strays) in Westwood, NJ (http://care4strays.org/) has taught me that Reiki is extremely effective for easing anxiety and fear, building trust, and treating other behavioral issues, in addition to easing the transition through a terminal illness (for both animal and human caretaker alike). House calls for your animal companions are available; session durations/prices will vary. All animal sessions are personalized and based on the individual needs of each client.
